Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoy viewing our new web site. Wanda King, MCWA treasurer, has been working hard to revamping our website for several weeks now. Here efforts have been great! Thanks Wanda.

I just want to introduce myself. I am the new OSM/Vista for Morris Creek. Well I guess I shouldn't say new I have been serving here in Morris Creek for about 6 months. I have been working on various projects such as our $477,000 stream bank restoration project with WV Conservation Agency and WV Department of Environmental Protection. I have also been writing grants to get federal and private funding to help us build a new watershed/ community building.

We have a whole bunch of projects coming up. The first is MLK Day Jan. 18. We will be building bird houses to improve the wildlife habitat for blue birds, wren and sparrows in our watershed. Deb Beulter, WVUIT Biology Professor and MCWA board member, has been conducting a bird cound in Morris Creek. She has identified more than 75 species of birds.

I will make sure we post pictures of the event and any news coverage.

Our next day of service is April 10- Make it Shine. We will be cleaning trash out of the creek. If you know of anyone who wants to volunteer please have them contact us!

I look forward to posting more blogs about our projects. Keep checking back for more updates.

Many lawyers and justices aspire to being one of the nine Supreme Court Justices. To become a Supreme Court Justice is a life-long journey with seemingly uncertain results. These steps will take you through the key things to accomplish along the way in your quest to become a Supreme Court Justice. Thanks.

The College, meanwhile, rented rooms in a building north of Dartmouth Hall and filed a suit in the county court to regain its property. Though lacking its former buildings, the College retained most of its students and had a much larger enrollment than the University. Thank you.
